Volunteer Opportunity: Municipal Advisory Design Panels
The AIBC is looking for volunteers to serve on Municipal Advisory Design Panels (ADPs). ADPs provide valuable insight and feedback for projects, proposals and policies affecting a community’s physical environment. ADPs help ensure local governments, municipalities and districts responsible for design, urban planning and zoning decisions arrive at the most appropriate solutions which serve in the interest of the public. Advanced Code Knowledge Course – Registration Now Open!
The Advanced Code Knowledge Course is being offered jointly by the AIBC and Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia. This course is intended for architects, engineers and those with knowledge of Canadian building codes and experience in the building construction industry seeking to increase their depth of knowledge and expertise in these areas. The next AIBC Mandatory CES reporting period deadline is June 30, 2018. CES Participants have nine months remaining to earn and report a total of 36 Learning Units. Read more.
