AIBC’s Strategic Plan for 2019–2023
With the 2014–2018 Strategic Plan (PDF) in its final year, AIBC Council is currently planning for the future and developing the next five-year plan.
Strategic plans are critical, as they identify key objectives and outcomes over a multi-year timeframe and act as a roadmap for the organization. The goals and strategies set by the plan will determine priorities for the organization’s initiatives and programs, and also provide guidance for AIBC council, committees, and staff. As a regulatory body, strategic plans are even more crucial as they support the Institute in governing and operating at the highest level of excellence.
Anchored by AIBC’s mandate, vision and values, the 2019–2023 AIBC Strategic Plan will set priority goals, and outline the strategic initiatives through which the AIBC will make progress over the next five years. The AIBC has engaged McLaughlin & Associates, specialists in strategic planning, who were chosen through an RFP process.
As an initial step, a survey was sent to members in January 2018 to assess, examine and understand the Institute’s current landscape. All AIBC registrants and associates were encouraged to share their feedback – responses were collected, and will help inform the development of the 2019-2023 Strategic Plan, anticipated to be released in the fall of 2018.
