Professional Liability Insurance (PLI) Bylaws Set for E-Vote
The AIBC will be conducting an electronic vote on proposed Professional Liability Insurance (PLI) Bylaws. The voting period for the council-endorsed bylaws will commence on June 13, and continue until July 13 at 4 p.m. (PDT). All eligible members and honorary members are encouraged to cast their ballot. AIBC AIBC-APEGBC Member Advisory: Revised Letters of Assurance in the BC Building Code
This member advisory is issued to members and licensees of the Architectural Institute of British Columbia (AIBC) and Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC (APEGBC) regarding Ministerial Order M158, which amends the BC Building Code, effective immediately. Read more
AIBC 2017/2018 AIBC Council and Invited Liaisons
The AIBC is pleased to announce the 2017/2018 AIBC Council and Invited Liaisons to Council. Council elections results were announced during the May 8 Annual Meeting, held in Vancouver in conjunction with the AIBC Annual Conference. Following the adjournment of the annual meeting, council elected its slate of officers for the 2017/2018 council year. Read more

AIBC Passive House Design and Construction for Architects
The AIBC and Passive House Canada have partnered on this three-day condensed Passive House Design and Construction course, geared towards architects with professional training in building envelope design. This course is equivalent to 120A and covers the technical, economic and policy elements of Passive House buildings. Read more
