The Professional Liability Insurance Bylaws supported by members and honorary members have successfully passed the provincial government’s “disallowance” period and are now in effect, with compliance not required until February 1, 2019. Read more.

The AIBC issues an annual reminder to keep firm information current and help maintain the integrity of the AIBC register. This information is also used to issue annual fee invoices. Additionally, an online directory of architectural firms is available to the public. Read more.

AIBC Council invites members and associates to bring forward nominations for AIBC Honorary Membership by February 16, 2018. This honorary designation recognizes individuals who have made an exceptional contribution to the profession of architecture or demonstrated a remarkable commitment and service to the institute. CES Countdown: 10 Months until the June 30, 2018 Deadline
At just over the halfway point, nearly 20% of CES Participants have met their Continuing Education System requirements for the 2016–2018 reporting period. The next AIBC Mandatory CES reporting period deadline is June 30, 2018. CES Participants have 10 months remaining to earn and report a total of 36 Learning Units. Read more.
