AIBC Officially under Authority of the PGA

As of February 10, 2023, the Architectural Institute of British Columbia is officially under the authority of the Professional Governance Act. The Architects Act has been repealed, and the architectural profession is now governed by the PGA and its regulations. Read more.

PD Day 2023 Registration Now Open

Registration is now open for PD Day 2023! This one-day professional development event will take place virtually on May 10, 2023. With more than 10 session options and a plenary presentation, attendees can earn up to 5 Core Learning Units. 2023 AIBC Council Election Nominations Close March 20

The 2023 AIBC Council Call for Nominees is now open – the deadline to submit an application form is March 20, 2023, at 4 p.m. Those interested in applying are invited to review the 2023 Council Election Nominee Information Package on the website, which includes all relevant forms and submission instructions.
