AIBC PGA Transition | Regulation versus Advocacy

The PGA is intended to provide a consistent framework for self-regulating professions that incorporates best practices of professional governance. New Oral Exam Officially Launched

The AIBC is delighted to announce that that new Oral Exam (formerly the Oral Review) has officially launched, with the upcoming October round being the first administered under the new and improved process. Read more.

Serve on a Municipal Advisory Design Panel

The AIBC invites Architects AIBC to submit an application to serve on a municipal advisory design panel. This is a great opportunity to get involved with your community and help shape the projects and policies affecting the built environment in British Columbia. In this role, architects provide insight and feedback on design, urban planning, and zoning matters. Read more.

AIBC Happenings

  • The AIBC is currently planning content and accepting submissions for the Fall PD Series. Those interested in presenting are encouraged to complete the online proposal form.
  • Registration for the AIBC's first online intern architect course, Architects and the Law, will open next week.
  • The Post-Disaster Building Assessment Training Workshop will be taking place on September 22 and 29. Registration will open shortly via Notice.
