2023 Annual Renewal of Registration

Invoices for the 2023 Annual Renewal are now available, and are being sent to registrants. AIBC Council has approved a three percent increase for registrants and affiliates, which is less than the current rate of inflation. The deadline for annual renewal of registration is February 1, 2023. Read more.

Council Rules 5: Continuing Education System Approved

On November 8, AIBC Council approved revised Council Rules 5: Continuing Education System, and they are now in effect. The revisions incorporate mandatory continuing education requirements for Indigenous Peoples Learning. A minimum of two Core Learning Units are required to be earned each reporting period, starting this current period. Read more.

Last Chance to Register for the 2023 CP and ACK Courses

Registration for the 2023 Certified Professional Course and Advanced Code Knowledge Course closes on December 16, 2022. The courses will be based on the 2018 BC Building Code and the 2019 Vancouver Building Bylaw. Anyone may take the CP Course, although only architects and engineers may practice as CPs. Read more.
