On-Demand Version of the Mandatory Firm Registrants Course Now Available

The on-demand version of the Mandatory Firm Registrants Course is now available in the AIBC Course Portal. The course provides an overview of baseline responsibility and requirements of holding a Certificate of Practice and operating an architectural Firm in B.C. Read more.

New Process for Setting Up Notarius Digital Seals

A new streamlined process is in place for setting up a Notarius digital seal. As of May 26, 2025, once an Architect has been approved by the AIBC for issuance of a digital seal, Notarius will generate and provide a unique digital seal file for the Architect directly through the platform. New Volunteer Opportunities Available

Several new volunteer opportunities are now available, including with the
Nomination Committee (both Registrant and lay positions), as well as Oral Examiners and BEA Assessors. Those who are interested are encouraged to learn more and apply on the website. Read more.
