2026 Annual Renewal of Registration Deadline: February 1

The 2026 Annual Renewal of Registration deadline is February 1, 2026. Invoices have been sent, and Registrants are also able to view and print their invoices and receipts directly through the Registrant Portal. Those eligible to apply for a waiver of their annual fees must submit their applications by January 15, 2026. Read more.

Only Six Months Left until the June 30 CES Deadline

The mandatory CES reporting period deadline is June 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. This means that CES Participants have less than six months to earn and report a minimum of 36 Learning Units, of which 16 must be Core. As a reminder, CES non-compliance is now addressed as an administrative matter, as per the AIBC Bylaws. Read more.

Updated Bylaws, New Professional Standards in Effect

As a reminder, as of December 10, the updated AIBC Bylaws and two new
Professional Standards, are in effect . An overview of the amendments can be found on the AIBC website. Read more.

Learning Units Available at BUILDEX Vancouver 2026

The AIBC is a lead supporting organization at BUILDEX Vancouver 2026, and supporting the session “The Professional Seal: Authentication, Accountability, and Assurance”. The event is taking place on February 11 and 12, and AIBC Registrants are eligible to receive a discount. Read more.

  • The 2025 Volunteer Recognition Ceremony took place on December 2.

  • There are special rates available for hotels within walking distance of the Vancouver Convention Centre West for AIBC Conference 2026.
  • The 2026 Call for Board Nominees will open shortly, with four positions available for
    election. If you are interested in helping shape the work of the AIBC and contributing your expertise, we encourage you to submit a nomination.
