AIBC Retired Architect AIBC Council Liaison Expressions of Interest
Expressions of Interest for the Retired Architect AIBC Council Liaison are now being accepted for the 2019/20 AIBC Council. Liaisons sit for a one-year term, and are expected to attend the monthly scheduled meetings and planning sessions. Completed submissions must be received by the AIBC office time stamped before 4 p.m. on April 4, 2019. Read more.
AIBC AIBC Confab 2019 Registration Now Open!
Registration for the inaugural AIBC Confab 2019 – The Art of Conversation is now open! With four streams featuring sessions that cover a wide range of topics, there is something for everyone. Early bird rates will be in effect for full day packages until March 17 – don’t miss out on the best rate for a full day of professional development. AIBC Call for Historic Architecture Photos and Video
As the AIBC heads into its 100th year this spring, the Institute is looking for images and video clips of iconic B.C. architecture or architects over the last hundred years. We would be delighted to share your images from across the province throughout our year-long program of initiatives in celebration of decades of regulation. Read more.
AIBC 100th Annual Meeting & Centenary Reception Registration
The 100th AIBC Annual Meeting will be held on May 6, 2019. This event is an opportunity to hear from your elected council, learn more about the Institute’s plans for the upcoming year, discuss areas of interest, as well as catch up with colleagues. Taking place immediately following the meeting, we will be hosting a Centenary Reception to kick off a year of initiatives recognizing the Institute’s decades of regulation. AIBC Volunteer Opportunities Now Available
The AIBC Volunteer Program is an initiative that supports registrants and members of the public in contributing to the mandate of the Institute and the architectural community in British Columbia. We are looking for individuals for four current volunteer opportunities; Oral Review Panelists 2019, Consensual Resolution Review Panel, the Investigations Committee and Design Panel Committee.
