PGA Bylaw Review: Draft Registration and Licensing Bylaws Now Available

The major component of the AIBC’s PGA transition is the development of bylaws which meet PGA requirements. The first suite of draft bylaws addresses registration and licensing, and is now available for review. The AIBC encourages feedback and comments from registrants. Read more.

Less than 1 Month Left until the CES Deadline of June 30

AIBC-registered architects, architectural technologists, and intern architects are reminded that the AIBC Mandatory Continuing Education System (CES) 2020-2022 reporting period deadline is June 30, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. CES Participants have less than one month remaining to earn and report a total of 36 Learning Units, of which 16 must be Core. Read more.

Professional Governance Act Amendments

The government has been undertaking amendments to the PGA to improve consistency and best practices among registered professionals under the PGA, and to allow for the designation of new regulatory bodies. Many amendments were put forward. However, there are eight changes to the legislation that are particularly noteworthy for AIBC registrants. Read more.
