2020 Annual Firm Information Update Complete
The 2020 Annual Firm Information Update began on September 2 and concluded on September 30. Over 90 percent submitted their firm information update by the deadline – thank you to those who completed this important regulatory requirement. This means that approximately 10 percent of Firm Administrators still need to confirm or update the information in their firm profiles.

One Month Left for CP and ACK Course Early Bird Discount
Early bird registration rates for the 2021 Certified Professional Course and Advanced Code Knowledge Course are only available until October 31, 2020! The courses will be based on the 2018 BC Building Code and the 2019 Vancouver Building Bylaw. This year, given the COVID-19 pandemic, all sessions will be delivered online via Zoom. Read more. |

Professional Governance Act Virtual Town Hall Recap
The Professional Governance Act Virtual Town Hall was held on September 17. With more than 100 attendees, the event gave registrants an opportunity to hear from the government directly regarding the recent announcement to move the AIBC from the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills and Training to the Ministry of the Attorney General, and the eventual transition to the Professional Governance Act.
