2021 Annual Renewal of Registration Deadline: February 1
The deadline for the 2021 Annual Renewal of Registration is February 1. Thank you to all architects, associates, temporary licensees, and firms who have already paid their fees. To date, nearly 40 percent of registrants have submitted payments. Those who do not pay on or before February 1 will no longer be in good standing with the AIBC. Read more. |

Participate in the Code of Ethics Part II Bylaw E-Vote by January 31
On December 11, 2020, AIBC Council approved the proposed suite of Code of Ethics Part II bylaws for electronic vote. The vote for this suite of bylaws is organized into five topic areas and will run until January 31, 2021. Architects and Honorary Members are encouraged to cast their ballot. Read more. |

2021 AIBC Courses Update
Given the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the AIBC will not be offering in-person delivery of the four mandatory courses required for registration by Intern Architects AIBC and Broadly Experienced Applicants: Architect & the Law, BC Building Code, Construction Administration, and Ethics, Act & Bylaws. The Online Course Project is underway, and still anticipated to launch in the second half of 2021. Read more.

Volunteer Opportunity | Investigations Committee
The AIBC is seeking Architects AIBC and Retired Architects AIBC to participate on the Investigations Committee. This committee works with the AIBC Professional Conduct and Illegal Practice Department to conduct investigations of complaints made against architects, associates, temporary licensees, and firms, and makes recommendations, including remediation, to the AIBC.
