Given the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the AIBC is continuing to deliver the Oral Reviews via Zoom. Currently, three rounds are still scheduled to take place in winter, spring, and fall in 2021. The full schedule, including dates and registration information, will be shared throughout the year via the website, Connected, and Notices.
The AIBC will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely – please note changes may be made in response to pandemic protocols and restrictions. Any updates will be communicated as soon as possible.
March Oral Review Dates
The Winter Oral Review will be taking place online via Zoom. The dates are now available:
Winter Oral Review Dates: March 10–31
Application Open Date: Tuesday, January 14
Application Close Date: Thursday, February 4 (at 4 p.m.)
Oral Review Workshop: To be determined
Those interested in taking the Oral Review are required to submit an application form between the specified registration period for each round. Following the application close date, AIBC staff will contact you to confirm your eligibility and assigned Oral Review date.
Oral Review Preparation Workshops
The AIBC offers a free Oral Review Preparation Workshop before each round of Oral Reviews – attendance is highly recommended for all Intern Architects AIBC and BEA candidates. Supervising Architects and Mentors of intern architects are also welcome.
For 2021, the preparation workshops will take place virtually – candidates will be emailed directly with additional information and registration details. The workshop for the upcoming round of Oral Reviews will be held in February.
