Conference 2024: Last Day for Regular Registration Rates!

Today is the last day of regular registration rates for AIBC Conference 2024! This multi-day professional development event features nearly 30 learning opportunities, which all explore this year’s theme: Act. A wide range of topics will be covered, from innovation and technology to sustainability and green building. Read more.

Registration Now Open for 2024 Post-Disaster Building Assessment Workshop

The AIBC is hosting the Spring 2024 Post-Disaster Building Assessment Training Workshop virtually on May 9 and 16. Taking place over two half-days, the workshop will prepare participants to perform rapid post-disaster building assessments. The deadline to register is May 1, 2024. Read more.

Three Months Remaining until CES Deadline of June 30

CES Participants must earn and report a total of 36 Learning Units, of which at least 16 must be Core, before the June 30, 2024 deadline. Of the 16 Core LUs, a minimum of two must be related to Indigenous Peoples Learning. CES progress can be reviewed in the Registrant Portal, and information about requirements can be found on the AIBC website. Read more.

AIBC Happenings

  • The AIBC’s 2024 BC Building Code Update Course took place virtually on Tuesday, March 26, with nearly 400 attendees.
  • In accordance with AIBC Bylaw 2.127, Architects AIBC in Good Standing are invited to submit an Advisory Resolution by April 18, 2024.
