Updated Bylaws Now in Effect

The AIBC Bylaws have been updated and are now in effect. There were several noteworthy updates, including to the Project Takeover Professional Standards, reinstatement for CES Participants, and Firm Certificate of Practice course requirements. Registrants are encouraged to review the bylaws and become familiar with the updates. Read more.

Notice of the 105th AIBC Annual General Meeting,
Registration Now Open

The 105th Annual General Meeting will be held online on June 4, 2024, from 12–1:30 p.m. Pacific Time. Additional information, including the agenda and registration details, is available on the AIBC website. Read more.

Only Two Months Remaining until CES Deadline of June 30

AIBC-registered Architects, Architectural Technologists, and Intern Architects are reminded that the CES deadline is Sunday, June 30, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. PDT. There are less than two months remaining to earn and report 36 Learning Units, of which at least 16 must be Core. The Indigenous Peoples Learning requirement is in effect this reporting period. Post-Disaster Building Assessment Workshop Registration Extended until May 6

Registration for the Post-Disaster Building Assessment Training Workshop has been extended until May 6! Taking place virtually on May 9 and 16, the workshop will prepare participants to perform rapid post-disaster building assessments. Read more.

  • An updated version of the BC Building Code 2024 Part 3 Checklist is now available.
  • The AIBC Summer PD Series is starting on May 29, with the "Introduction to Digital Seals" session.
  • Thank you to everyone who attended AIBC Conference 2024: Act! Share your feedback in the post-conference survey, which was emailed to attendees.
