Assessment (PDBA) Workshop

The AIBC is hosting the Spring 2025 PDBA Training Workshop virtually on May 21 and 28. Taking place over two half-days, the workshop will prepare

  • New BC Building Code 2024 provisions for adaptable dwellings and seismic design came into effect on March 10. The adaptable-dwelling requirements will be introduced in a phased approach, starting at 20% of units in large residential buildings, as opposed to the previously proposed 100%.
