Retired Architect AIBC Council Liaison Expressions of Interest
Expressions of Interest for the Retired Architect AIBC Council Liaison are now being accepted for the 2020/21 AIBC Council. Liaisons sit for a one-year term, and are expected to participate in the monthly scheduled meetings and planning sessions. Completed submissions must be received by the AIBC office time stamped before 4 p.m. on April 2, 2020. Read more.

Code of Ethics Part II – Second Round of Consultation Planned
The Bylaw Review Committee is conducting a phased review of the approximately 115 bylaws and council rulings that make up the AIBC’s Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct. Based on the feedback received to date for the current bylaw initiative (Code of Ethics Part II), a second round of consultation is planned to open later this spring/early summer. Read more.

This month, we have unveiled the 2010s! Learn about the creation of the Broadly Experienced Foreign Architect Program, mandatory Professional Liability Insurance coming into effect, and other milestones from this decade on AIBC 100.
Fast Fact: The BEFA Program was launched on September 21, 2012, for all 11 provincial and territorial architectural licensing authorities in Canada. BEFA was developed and piloted at the AIBC. |
