Canada and the UK Sign Mutual Recognition Agreement

On April 23, 2025, the Regulatory Organizations of Architecture in Canada and the UK’s Architects Registration Board signed a Mutual Recognition Agreement, which creates a streamlined and quicker registration process for eligible architects. Applications through this route will open on May 14, 2025.

New Volunteer Opportunity: BEA Assessors

The AIBC is seeking Architects interested in the Broadly Experienced Applicant (BEA) pathway to registration to serve as BEA Assessors. This newly created volunteer opportunity is part of the recently redesigned and modernized BEA assessment process. Read more.
