The deadline for the current CES reporting cycle is June 30, 2020 – there are only eight months left to earn and report 36 Learning Units! New, Earlier Opening Date for the 2020/21 AIBC Council Call for Nominations
The Call for Nominations as part of the 2020 Council Election will open on December 10, 2019. Registrants will notice the call is opening earlier than previous years. This was done to provide members with ample time to consider submitting a nomination. It will also help accommodate the work of the Council Recruitment Task Force. Read more. |

AIBC Practice Notes Now AIBC Practice Guidelines
The AIBC is changing the name of the “Practice Notes” to “Practice Guidelines”. The new title is more aligned with industry standards and naming conventions of other regulators. While the name is now different, the intention of the material remains the same – to provide guidance on specific architectural practice topics. Read more.

The winners of the 2019 AFBC Architectural Awards were announced at a ceremony held on November 4, 2019. Eight awards were presented in four categories, representing outstanding and exceptional work from the architectural community in British Columbia.
