2024 Firm Update Deadline: September 30

The 2024 Firm Update has begun, and the deadline for completing this important regulatory requirement is September 30, 2024. All architectural firms registered with the Architectural Institute of British Columbia are required to submit a firm update. Read more.

Post-Disaster Building Assessment Training Workshop

Registration is now open for the 2024 Post-Disaster Building Assessment
Training Workshop, which is being held in-person on October 24. The workshop will prepare participants to perform rapid post-disaster building assessments. Registration closes on October 16. Read more.

The PD Day 2025 Call for Submissions is now open! If you are interested in
presenting at this virtual event or participating in a panel discussion, we
encourage you to submit your proposal by October 31, 2024. Read more.

Registration Now Open for the 2025 Certified Professional and Advanced Code Knowledge Courses

Registration is open for the 2025 Certified Professional (CP) Course and the Advanced Code Knowledge (ACK) Course. The courses will be based on the 2024 BC Building Code and the 2019 Vancouver Building By-law. Read more.
