Construction Specifications Canada Vancouver Chapter – Elevators: Cutting through the Jargon
Elevating devices are mandated in the building code in 3.8.3.10. Floor Levels for most multistory buildings. These devices are complicated and require vast efforts to coordinate throughout the project delivery cycle, as different manufacturers have vastly different requirements. Complex terms and jargon have developed in the industry that has made this coordination difficult. This presentation is aimed at helping design professionals access this jargon to be more effective in delivering coordinated designs.
