BC Building Envelope Council (BCBEC) – RCABC’s Guarantee for Vegetated Roofs: A new future for green roofing in British Columbia
The RCABC Vegetated Roof Guarantee translates the tried-and-true Quality Control/Quality Assurance formula of the RoofStar Guarantee Program for the green roofing industry, combining membership requirements with a rigorous Standard, sampling and testing, trained installers and maintenance contractors, competent project management, and third-party observations. Combined with required maintenance paid for in advance by owners, it is, by its nature, a risk-managed approach to green roofing that will benefit owners and instill confidence among designer, regulators, and other stakeholders.
