Cabinetry 101 for Architects is a practical session designed to help architects better integrate cabinetry planning into their design workflow—without needing to become a cabinetmaker. This session offers a crash course on cabinetry essentials: material choices, surface finishes, joinery, box construction, and building code implications. Through real-world examples, code fails, and collaboration tips, attendees will walk away with the confidence to make smarter cabinetry decisions earlier in the process—and avoid the most common and costly mistakes. This activity also features a guided factory tour of Norelco Cabinets’ state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.
