This introductory course is for architects, home designers and builders, energy advisors & energy modelers, engineers, policymakers, and other professionals who will influence or perform whole-building Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs). The course equips participants with the knowledge and skills to properly and effectively use LCA in designing buildings. Key topics include life cycle thinking life cycle assessment, relevant ISO and EN standards, and whole-building LCA process in construction.
