This course covers airtightness and low-TEDI enclosure construction for zero energy/emissions or Passive House buildings. Students will develop a firm understanding of airtightness and low thermal demand (low-TEDI) enclosures focusing on wood-frame construction, assembly details, material selection and compatibility, construction approaches, sequencing and coordination, for zero energy/emissions or Passive House buildings.
This course is eligible under the Essentials of Net Zero and Passive House Construction microcredential for free tuition for the StrongerBC Future skills training grant on a first-come-first serve basis.
