Gain a comprehensive understanding of foundation engineering from dealing with shallow foundations and deep foundations to retaining structures and excavations. Major emphasis will be on the analytical methods and problem solving aspects as related to shallow and deep foundations. This course provides participants with an opportunity to apply the design procedures to challenging “real life” foundation design workshops. All key concepts and terminology will be explained, and emphasis will be placed on the practical application of the information provided.
