JRS Engineering – BC Energy Step Code & Energy Modelling
The BC Energy Step Code came into effect in December 2017. Numerous municipalities have already
adopted the code and many others have shown interest and are studying it. This presentation introduces the Step Code, explains its impact on building envelope, and demonstrates how energy modelling should ideally work with the envelope consultant to optimize the envelope design.
