RAIC – AI and Architecture: An Introduction – Generative, Agentic and Physical AI
This session will provide an introduction to the use of Artificial Intelligence in architecture. It will provide an overview of what AI is and how it works and it will examine the three types of AI that architects may encounter – generative, agentic and physical. Generative AI creates content; Agentic AI completes tasks with little or no human intervention; and Physical AI embeds intelligence in real world objects such as robots and buildings.
The webinar will provide state-of-the-art examples of each type of AI and will also discuss how to use AI effectively and it will touch on critical issues such as cybersecurity and intellectual property.
Finally it will speculate on the impact AI will have on the profession in terms of design, education and employment.
