Township of Langley – Builder Forum Series: Step Code and Fenestration
The Township of Langley will be hosting an online builder forum to share information related to fenestration strategies and meeting the requirements of the BC Energy Step Code, as well as updates from the TOL.
Goal: Understand how high-performance windows offer the best bang-for-buck toward energy compliance
Technical Director at Cascadia Windows & Doors, Michael Bousfield, explores a more comprehensive and integrated approach to envelope and fenestration energy performance, with a focus on cost-optimized solutions for meeting current and upcoming BC Energy Step Code requirements.
With an understanding of the performance impact of different fenestration components, Bousfield then takes attendees through installation detailing, plus real-world considerations to help maximize performance.
