Vancouver Community College – AutoCAD Level 2 (CMPT 1952)

This course provides intermediate users with more advanced AutoCAD skills needed to create professional drawings in 2D and 3D. Topics include: working with splines and curved polylines; advanced skills with blocks, attributes and external referenced drawing files; working with text styles, dimension styles and multileader styles; storing, presenting and creating annotative objects and attributed blocks, working with tables; setting up paperspace and viewports for printing, creating a custom template and plot style table, navigating and modeling in 3D and presentation (rendering) and documentation of 3D designs.
Recommended Prerequisite: AutoCAD Level 1 (CMPT 1951) or equivalent knowledge or experience.
