Vancouver Regional Construction Association – BIM Fundamentals
This is an introductory course to Building Information Modelling (BIM). Looking at the fundamental concepts of BIM, together with the business benefits and the critical factors for the successful implementation on projects.
There will be an introduction to the ISO 19650 suite and other working standards and specifications. This course will guide learners through what ISO 19650 is, why it is important to use this standard and how to extract the most relevant parts based on roles and projects.
To achieve a higher level of competitive advantage, it is important to understand the concepts of BIM and how to apply them to projects. This course will provide a fundamental understanding of BIM and will show how to implement BIM to demonstrate added value.
This is BIM made easy, we will use real project case studies to demonstrate what works and just as importantly what doesn’t work when not using BIM correctly.
