Taking place on the last Friday of every month, the ZEBx Decarb Lunch Series brings together industry silos to discuss emerging solutions and barriers related to zero emission buildings.

Deep Energy Retrofits in Existing Buildings: 1177 West Hastings
With a fully occupied office tower developed in 1968, Golden Properties Ltd. will share the past 10 years of deep energy retrofits. Presentations will walk through the 27-story office tower’s path to zero carbon, cutting electrical loads, reducing water and the zero-waste program. Golden Properties Ltd. will share their hurdles and achievements with regenerative drive elevators, variable flow cooling plant, SMART lighting controls, ultra-low flow fixtures, air handler fan arrays, decoupling domestic hot water and heat recovery systems.
