Women in Architecture – Shifts through Architecture

April 7 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Women in Architecture – Shifts through Architecture

Architecture is both evolutionary and revolutionary; it reflects its immediate contemporary context while at the same time speculates on possible futures. This work is preoccupied with how built form can both respond to and anticipate shifts. Jessie Andjelic is an architect, urbanist, educator, and founding partner of SPECTACLE Bureau for Architecture and Urbanism in Calgary. In 2019 Jessie was awarded the Young Architect prize from the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. She seeks opportunities to create works of architecture that critically examine and influence our cities.
