The Mid-Rise Wood Building Guide by the Canadian Wood Council and Wood WORKS!, will explore in detail the opportunities and possibilities that exist by utilizing the Canadian code requirements across the country

This workshop will identify the key considerations and factors that influence structural form from a designer’s perspective when designing a mid-rise building. Secondly, it will outline the code requirements, different structural systems- both light-frame and mass timber, business opportunities for development teams, and identify key considerations when planning the construction of a mid-rise wood building.
