ZEBx – Building Tour: Power Efficient Design Guide for MURBs
Earlier this year at BUILDEX Vancouver, we explored strategies for avoiding electrical capacity upgrades in MURB retrofits; now, with the Power Efficient Design (PED) Guide finalized, this Decarb Lunch focuses on what works in practice, what doesn’t, and how these approaches are being applied in real projects. Drawing on the project experience that informed the guide, a panel of practitioners will share lessons learned, practical examples, and key design decisions, including approaches to right-sizing, managing overlapping building loads, avoiding service upgrades, and navigating design and implementation trade-offs. Whether you attended our BCRA-hosted BUILDEX Vancouver session or are new to the topic, this webinar will provide actionable insights for scaling electrification and translating power-efficient design from concept into action in multi-unit residential buildings.
