This ZEBx Decarb Lunch will explore some of the critical heat pump design best practices that lead to better outcomes during installation. Drawing from real life examples, presenters from Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) and Ecolighten Energy Solutions will discuss common issues that lead to poor performance in heat pumps, best practices for designing and installing heat pumps, and how to improve performance of existing systems. Attendees will gain actionable insights into what makes heat pump installations successful, and how using an app can support collaboration between designers, contractors, builders, and other parties, leading to better performing heat pumps.
