Construction Specifications Canada Vancouver Chapter – CLF BC’s Embodied Carbon Specification Guidelines
This session will explore an initiative by Carbon Leadership Forum, British Columbia (CLF BC) that establishes a cross-disciplinary Embodied Carbon Specifications Working Group, led by Ryder Architecture, to develop embodied carbon specification guidance and template language. Participants will gain an overview of embodied carbon, how it is measured, and the current regulatory and industry landscape in British Columbia. The presentation will examine the role specifications can play in reducing embodied carbon and review different approaches to incorporating embodied carbon requirements into project specifications.
