The 98th AIBC Annual Meeting will be held on the first day of the 2017 AIBC Annual Conference.
The largest convergence of its kind in British Columbia, the AIBC Annual conference offers a networking lounge for informal relationship building, celebration and the exchange of tacit knowledge. The conference, which runs over three days, includes stimulating plenary sessions, intimate seminars, panel discussions and evening gatherings, all hosted at British Columbia’s flagship convention centre—Vancouver Convention Centre West.
With the launch of the new AWMAC Quality Standards manual scheduled for the second quarter of 2017, this is the perfect opportunity to explore the new manual, talk about the expanded scope of inclusions in architectural woodwork, and compare the new manual to the outgoing AWS 2.0.
This panel will examine retail in light of changing consumer trends and wants, exploring the complexities of designing spaces that not only service retail tenants and customers, but act as urban destinations.
