The City of Surrey is calling for submissions for the NewCity Design Award, as part of the 2014 City Awards Program. The eight categories of the Design Award recognize Surrey’s leading examples of urban design and creative city-building. Award categories include: Residential (Small Scale), Residential (Medium Scale), Residential (Large Scale) Commercial, Government and Institutional, Landscape, Public Space and Infrastructure, Renovation and Adaptive Re-Use, and Interiors. The Call for Nominations and Submissions opened April 22nd and closes June 23, 2014. Awards will be presented by Mayor and Council at the new Surrey City Hall on October 22nd.
