VINT 1010 A History of Vancouver Architecture
Ever wonder what makes the Vancouver Special unique to Vancouver? How old is Vancouver’s oldest building? Come explore Vancouver’s lively and local architectural legacy. This is a survey course of the kaleidoscope of buildings in Vancouver, beginning with indigenous dwellings and ending with modern-day landmarks, and ranging from modest shacks to architectural masterpieces.
The course meets on seven Wednesdays, at 7:00pm, starting April 15. The cost is $129. The course will take place at Lord Byng School, but is offered through Langara College.
