A floating McDonald’s restaurant may sound like a wonderful fast-food industry concept but you won’t find any Happy Meals at this restaurant.
The McBarge was built in 1986 for an estimated cost of $8 million but proved to be a bad investment and has been left empty for the last 30 years in a creek on the west coast of Canada.
The Mcdonald’s barge was built to showcase future architecture and technology at the 1986 World Exposition and has been moored in Vancouver, British Columbia, ever since. Read more…
