The Telus Garden building in downtown Vancouver has won a 2016 Architizer A+ award for Henriquez Partners Architects.
Telus Garden was recognized as the Popular Choice Winner and Jury Choice Winner in the Office – High Rise (16+ floors) category.
The development features a 22-storey office tower which was the first building in Canada to achieve the LEED Platinum standard. The project also feartures a 47 storey residential tower under construction, which is is targeting the LEED Gold standard. The building features over 10,000 square feet of green roofs.
“Our goal was to design an office building to inspire its occupants, animate the streetscape and set a new standard for sustainable workplace design in North America. The team is so thrilled, as this recognition from the 300 judging experts supports this vision,” Henriquez Partners Architects managing partner Gregory Henriquez said.
