The AIBC is pleased to welcome Selwyn Dodd Retired Architect AIBC as the inaugural Retired Architect Liaison to Council.

AIBC Council extends an invitation to Retired Architects AIBC, along with Intern Architects AIBC and Architectural Technologists AIBC, to submit expressions of interest in the role which entails participating as an invited guest to council and serving in an advisory, non-voting capacity.

Since Mr. Dodd was selected mid-council cycle, the one-year assignment will be extended until May 2018.

Mr. Dodd registered with the Architectural Institute of British Columbia in 1972. He has served in a number of AIBC governance roles throughout his career—as a council member, treasurer, vice president and two terms as president. In addition, Mr. Dodd chaired the Professional Conduct and Illegal Practice Board for twelve years.

As an architect, Mr. Dodd served as principal, partner and, later, sole proprietor of a firm which he merged into Iredale Group Architecture in 2006.

The complete list of AIBC Council members is available on the AIBC website.
