At the January 2017 council meeting Council Rules 6: Designation and Admission Qualifications for Associates were approved. The rules set designation and admission qualifications for the AIBC’s three associate classes: Intern Architect AIBC, Retired Architect AIBC and Architectural Technologist AIBC.
These rules support the AIBC Bylaw amendments, voted on by members in October-November 2016, regarding the requirement of council to establish qualifications for admission and appropriate designations.
