Bylaw Review: PLI Consultation Sessions

Consultation

Consultation on the Professional Liability Insurance initiative is scheduled to take place through the Spring of 2017. Members and all other AIBC registrants are invited and encouraged to participate in the in-person and/or online sessions held during the following times.

The in-person and online sessions will be available to a maximum of 25 participants (each) on a first come, first serve basis. A minimum of 8 people are required in order for the session to be hosted. A maximum of one LU will be assigned.

Consultation One
Date: Thursday, March 16
Time: 5:30–7 p.m.
Location: In-person (AIBC office) and online
Learning Units (LUs): 1 Core
RSVP: for in-person and online session by Monday, March 13, 2017 at 5 p.m.
Light refreshments will be served.

Consultation Two
Date: Thursday, March 23
Time: 4:30–6 p.m.
Location: Cedar Hill Golf Club, 1400 Derby Rd, Victoria (in-person session only)
Learning Units (LUs): 1 Core
RSVP: Extended to Monday, March 20, 2017 at 5 p.m.
Light refreshments will be served.
Note: The Vancouver Island Chapter Recognition Ceremony will follow the session. Reception 6–7 p.m.; Ceremony 7–9 p.m.

Consultation Three
Date: Tuesday, April 4
Time: 12–1:30 p.m.
Location: JIB Room at the Kelowna Yacht Club, 1370 Water St, Kelowna (in-person session only)
Learning Units (LUs): 1 Core
RSVP: by Monday, March 27, 2017 at 5 p.m.
Lunch will be served.

Consultation Four
Date: Tuesday, April 11
Time: 11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m*
Location: In-person (AIBC office) and online
Learning Units (LUs): 1 Core
RSVP: for in-person and online session by Friday, April 7, 2017 at 12 p.m.   
*Lunch will be served to in-person attendees from 11:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. with the presentation commencing at 12 p.m.

Consultation Five
Date: Monday, May 8 (Council Presentation Session, held after the Annual Meeting)
Time: 4:30–5 p.m.
Location: In-person (Vancouver Convention Centre, West Building, Room 301-5)
Learning Units (LUs): combined with Annual Meeting LU assignment
RSVP: combined with Annual Meeting RSVP
