This Practice Note has been revised to include Vancouver’s Building Bylaw.
The BC Building Code and Vancouver’s Building Bylaw are consistent in their requirements for the ‘Registered Professional of Record’ to complete one Schedule B, and one Schedule C-B, Letter of Assurance for each discipline. Additional registered professionals on a project provide Schedule S-B and Schedule S-C to the applicable Registered Professional of Record. The inclusion of Vancouver in this Practice Note reflects changes made in Vancouver’s Building Bylaw 2014, and have the support of the City of Vancouver.
