President’s Message | AIBC 2019–2023 Strategic Plan

January 31, 2018

Dear Colleagues,

Anchored by AIBC’s mandate, vision and values, the AIBC 2014-2018 Strategic Plan has served us well in directing the institute’s regulatory efforts. The institute’s priorities are clearly articulated in the five strategic plan goals and the supporting initiatives provide a roadmap towards achieving those goals.

With the plan in its final year, council is drawing its attention to the future. We will be developing the next five-year plan in coordination with McLaughlin & Associates, specialists in strategic planning, who were chosen through an RFP process. Our aim is to have the 2019-2023 Strategic Plan in place by the end of this year.

One of the first orders of business is an environmental scan to fully understand the institute’s current landscape… and we want to hear from you! All AIBC registrants are invited to participate.

Please take a moment to fill out this survey before February 16, 2018.

Your feedback will provide an opportunity for review and reassessment as well as informing the development of the future plan. As we move through this process, we will continue to reach out to members with updates and additional requests for input.

Thank you in advance for your much-appreciated participation.
Yours truly,

Danica Djurkovic Architect AIBC
AIBC Council President
