It is with much regret that the AIBC acknowledges the passing of Benjamin Peterson on March 15, 2018, at the age of 94.
Ben was born and raised in Victoria, B.C. He attended the University of British Columbia, and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Benjamin decided to pursue a career in architecture later in life, and became registered with the Architectural Institute of British Columbia in 1959. Throughout his career, he worked for Charles E. Craig Architect, and later as Partner of Peterson & Lester Architects in Victoria. Benjamin was a practicing architect for nearly 30 years.
In his Obituary, he is described as a “a lifelong learner, [who] maintained an interest in current events, politics, and advances in science.”
