The AIBC is pleased to announce that Mark Hamilton Architect AIBC has joined the AIBC Professional Services Department as Practice Advisor. He will be working under the direction of Maura Gatensby Architect AIBC.
Mark has been a practicing architect for 26 years, with expertise in practice management, contract documents, and insurance and legal matters. Prior to joining the AIBC, Mark was a partner at KMBR Architects, a senior architect at Bunting Coady Architects and Chernoff Thompson Architects, as well as a principal at his own small practice.
Mark has been actively involved with the AIBC for a number of years, volunteering on the Experience Review Committee, the Illegal Practice Committee and the Remedial Review Panel.
AIBC Practice Advisors are responsible for responding to queries of a broad and varied nature on matters related to the practice of architecture. They will advise members and the public on matters related to the Architects Act, AIBC Bylaws, architectural fees, services and engagement, as well as standards of practice and professional ethics.
The AIBC provides architectural practice advice, and encourages members and the public to take advantage of this service.
